best time to re-stock my borders

anyone know when i should re stock my borders and plant some veg?

I have started pulling out old plants now ready for the Easter weekend when I am really going to get cracking on getting everything in the garden up to scratch.
Early Spring is usually good for most planting. Vegetable wise it depends on what you are ntending to plant - what were you thinking of having a go at?

Hi all,

I was digging around in the garden and would like to fill up my raised beds a bit before I start popping in some new plants.

What is the best port of call? Should I just mix in some compost to the existing soil or drag it all out and re-fill my beds with new topsoil and compost?
